Doug Fisk
Chief Executive Officer
Doug is a petroleum geologist with 40+ years experience in oil and gas exploration and development. Doug began his career with Pioneer Production Company and Texas Oil and Gas Corporation, gaining extensive geologic experience within the Anadarko Basin in the Texas panhandle and western Oklahoma. In the early 1990’s Doug was a founder and partner of Corlena Oil Company and then again in 2000 with Tri-Ex Petroleum L.P.. Doug’s primary responsibilities included prospect generation, capital raising and business development, and geologic supervision of drilling projects. In 2005, Tri-Ex partnered with Pablo Energy II, LLC where the two companies pursued and developed projects within the Woodford Shale and Mississippian Lime formations in Oklahoma. In 2012, Doug co-founded ValPoint Operating, LLC. Doug holds a B.S. degree in Geology from West Texas State University and has served in numerous positions within the industry including as President of the West Texas State University Geological Society, President of the Panhandle Geological Society, and President of the Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association (PPROA).
Bill Smith
Head of Geosciences
Bill is a petroleum geologist with 35 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and development. Bill began his career as a geologist in 1979 with Samedan Oil Corporation and soon thereafter with Bracken Exploration and then as a partner with Bracken Operating, LLC. In 2008, Bill founded his own company, W.M. Smith Energy, LLC, where he has focused primarily on horizontal drilling and development. A prospect generator his entire career, Bill has been directly responsible for the drilling and development of over 250 wells within Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Bill holds a B.S. degree in Geology from The University of Oklahoma and has held numerous positions of service including President of the Oklahoma City Geological Society, Director of the Oklahoma Geological Foundation, Director of the Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association (PPROA) and Director of the Reserve Petroleum Company.
Dana Fleetwood
Vice President Land/Manager
Dana has obtained a wide array of land and land administration experience through the development of oil and gas prospects in Oklahoma and Texas over the past 15 years. Dana has gained direct experience in virtually every aspect of land management and is an expert in leasing, title curative, due diligence operations, and regulatory requirements and compliance, with an emphasis on large prospect development and management. Prior to serving as Land Manager for ValPoint, Dana served as a Landman / Division Order Analyst for Pablo Energy II, LLC where she played an instrumental part in the land administration of all prospects, including a leading role in due diligence operations for divestitures. Dana holds a B.S. degree from West Texas A&M University and is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) with the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) serving in numerous positions within the industry including Chairman of Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association (PPROA)
